Built for Canvas The Catalyst 4K display wall processor ships with Canvas, providing access to all of the visual business intelligence made available in the user's network—including live streams from network cameras and mobile devices, application screens from PCs, and real-time data feeds. Remote colleagues can see, share, and collaborate using the same live information in a highly secure environment no matter what device they have in front of them. Additional users are enabled simply by deploying additional Canvas clients on PCs, smartphones, tablets, or by adding Canvas Touch or CRS-4K systems to conference rooms. With Canvas, users can annotate directly on live video streams, chat by text or voice, and collaborate on documents in real time. Canvas includes software decoding of IP video streams (including 4K), as well as support for user authentication in Active Directory or Workgroup environments.
4K Input and Output Support Capable of decoding up to 20 4K signals, Catalyst 4K supports input signals with a 4K DVI input card that leverages a DVI-D dual-link connector. Catalyst 4K supports up to 14 HDCP 4K outputs on a single CPU chassis. Each 4K display has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels per output through a mini DisplayPort interface. Add up to four Expansion Chassis, each with 7 slots, to gain even more inputs.
Supports Canvas Standalone or Enterprise Jupiter's display wall management software, Canvas, can be deployed in two different ways. Canvas Standalone deployments focus only on a standalone video while Canvas Enterprise deployments have advanced collaboration features between video walls and users. Canvas Standalone provides an object-based, easy to use interface. Objects such as DVI, RGB, HD, and video inputs, streaming video inputs, web browsers, image viewers, and local and remote application windows can be dragged and dropped anywhere on the display wall. Jupiter has a long history of providing industry leading hardware for mission critical 24/7 control rooms. Canvas can easily be upgraded to the enterprise version through a new software license and does not require any additional hardware. Canvas Enterprise includes all the same features as Canvas Standalone but also enables video, data, applications, and more to be shared with colleagues anywhere, on any device, delivering end-to-end collaboration. Users can share streams and collaborate from anywhere in the network: at the main display wall, on PCs, and on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. Canvas brings a rich set of familiar tools for collaboration and allows annotation directly on live video streams. Object-level security allows managers to create discrete management and access permissions for wall segments, layouts, inputs, applications, and remote cursor control. User activity and event logging allow thorough forensic analysis.
